Employees of the hospitality sector and the manufacturing units were subjected to a preventive health session delivered by Dr Edmond Fernandes, Assistant Professor, Department of Public Health, Yenepoya Deemed to be University and World Economic Forum Young Global Leader. 

Insights on dietary practices, health assessment, substance abuse concerns, sexual and reproductive health and consumption of right nutraceuticals were discussed. The employees were also told about how mental health and physical health go hand and hand and the need for timely health assessment for themselves and also their family members to prevent any adverse health event.
